Our Ramadan gathering
At Ramadan Street Nights, the spaces around our Tenkasi restaurant became a meeting place of food stalls, festive lights and family time.
Inspired by the food streets of Hyderabad, Bombay and Chennai’s Mannady, our 2026 gathering brought three distinct food streets into one open-air experience. Friends and families could wander, share a favourite, and try something new together.
Three streets. One gathering.
A nod to Hyderabad’s Ramadan food culture, with haleem among the flavours remembered from our 2026 nights.
Inspired by the bustle and appetite of Bombay’s festive food streets: savoury bites, shared plates and the pleasure of exploring.
A connection closer to home, drawing on Chennai’s Mannady evenings and familiar Tamil Ramadan favourites.
From the 2026 tables
Haleem, mutton samosas and chicken cheese boxes. Nombu Kanji and Mohabbath Ka Sarbat. A sweet finish with Elaneer Payasam, Jigarthanda or Muhallaibiya.
These were part of the 2026 edition’s selection. The joy was in choosing a little, sharing a little, and returning to the conversation.
